"The catch phrase on their website is... "Captain Bill knows where the fish are". Problem is, he didn't know where the fish were. After 8 hours on the water we had caught 7 rockfish, only 3 of which were keepers, on a day when other boats in the area where bringing in full coolers of keepers.
The biggest thing we really caught, was this guys grumpy attitude. He snaps at you the whole time and acts like he doesn't want be there. He yelled at my 8 year old niece because he didn't think she was reeling in her rod fast enough. When I kept saying I wanted to get pictures of the non-keepers for my niece's mother, he ignored me and chucked them back into the water.
The equipment was not very well taken care of. One of the drags would not lock on one of the reels. And the line had lots of nicks in it. The one time we got a strong big bite, it got away cause the line snapped.
It was a horrible trip, and at no point did he offer to cut us a break on the cost or offered a discount to take us out again to make up for a terrible trip. I don't recommend this guy at all. "
