I love to check out new travel spots and the New York Times does a pretty good job of highlight some cool places for your next fishing trip.  One I came across recently was an article the printed in May about Caddo Lake on the Louisiana/Texas Border.  It looks like a great setting for a guided trip.  I need to get down there soon….

Well… after years of preparation and hardwork, I am happy to say that www.fishingguidesworld.com has launched!  I am excited to have created a platform for all types of fisherman and women to search for guides, lodging, and equipment as well as read & write recommendations of these business.  I strongly believe in the power of “word of mouth”.  We as humans trust what other humans have to say about their experiences. It helps us form judgments and make better decisions.  If you are about to spend hundreds of dollars  (or precious vacation time) with a fishing charter, you are better off to seek counsel from other people who have gone with an outfit and recommend it.  My goal here is to provide a valuable service to fisherman and fisherwomen….to help them make more informed decisions about what guides to use, where to stay, and what to buy.
